Thank you everyone for your wonderful entries and especially well done Poppy, we hope you enjoy your prizes!
This weeks Canberra Milk Team of the week is the Under 8s Belconnen Magpies White. Magpies White showed GREAT team sportsmanship, and shared the ball amongst all members of the team repeatedly so that every child got at least 3 possessions each quarter, including a shot on goal. As important, they also allowed every opposition player the opportunity to get a kick, without complaint!
Great going guys!
This weeks Canberra Milk Player of the week has to go to Scott Lancaster from St Edmunds Under 17s! Scott is a highly accomplished player and has played many Rising Stars matches over the past 2 seasons. However, with a change in the by-laws allowing him to represent his College at the Under 17’s level and his Senior Club at the Rising Stars level, he asked for the opportunity to return to Under 17’s football to represent his College in his final...

This meant a lot of rescheduling and families having to travel across town away from their home ground at Reid where they were originally scheduled to play and to assist with other Reid activities. This team of budding AFL players would never give away a...
