The AFL Canberra Milk Junior League provides boys and girls aged 10 – 16 years the opportunity to play Australian football in the nation’s capital by joining their local community club. PlayFEST is a celebration of play aimed at families with children aged 0-5 years old. As the largest event held each October during Children’s Week, it provides lots of fun craft, sporting, and play activities as well as stalls with parenting information for playgroup families and their friends.

The University of Canberra Capitals are the most successful team in the history of ACT sport, with an incredible seven WNBL titles to their name. For the 2014/15 WNBL Season the team will be led by Lauren Jackson, Abby Bishop, Kristen Veal, Jess Bibby and coach Carrie Graf, all striving for a record eighth title for the Capitals.

The Canberra Cavalry are a professional baseball team within the Australian Baseball League. Since the league's inauguration in 2010, the Cavalry have won a Championship (12-13), an Asia Series (13) and finished runner's up (13-14). Based in Narrabundah, the Cavalry season runs from November-February and boasts some of the best young players from both Australia and around the world, including Asia and North America.
